Membership Information for both the yacht and power boat sections


Membership of Bournville Model Yacht and Power Boat Club is split into two sections-Yachts and Power Boats. At the foot of this page are links to an application form for you to apply for membership of either section of the Club.
The Club fees are in two parts:
  • Membership fees which go into club funds for the benefit of all members and which are the same for both sections of the club.
  • Charges payable to register you with the Model Yachting Association or Model Power Boat Association and which provide you with insurance. For those joining the Yacht section there is a choice of MYA membership. £6 provides basic membership and insurance. £15 provides the same but additionally you receive copies of the Acquaint magazine which is published by the MYA 3 or 4 times a year.
