The Power Boat section at Bournville sails as a club on Sunday afternoons from 1400hrs and on Thursday mornings from 0930 hrs throughout the year, weather permitting. 
Club members make every endeavour to encourage members of the public to participate in the boating activities with a view to them joining. However, Public Liability Insurance is required and is provided by club membership.
We therefore strongly recommend members of the public to join the club or seek their own insurance cover.
Electric and steam powered boats are allowed but petrol or methanol driven boats are not permitted on the water.
During the summer the club holds its annual R.N.L.I. day, where members and visiting clubs display and sail boats to raise funds for this essential service.
